Mini CV

As leading recruitment consultants for over 30 years, and having received over 20,000 recruitment orders (Ranging from CEOs to lower ranks) from private organizations/companies, Manpower Services knows that barely 40% of vacancies in Kenya are publicly advertised. This results in about 60% of our clients requesting Manpower Services to source or headhunt candidates from CVs/resumes already with us. Once the request is confirmed by the client we go through our database of CVs, select the relevant most qualified ones and invite the candidates for an interview depending on their availability.

A mini CV is a summary of a candidate’s qualifications. Manpower Services collects these mini CVs submitted by various candidates and stores them in a database whereby they can be retrieved later whenever a private recruitment order is confirmed. To keep our database organized, up-to-date, and with only candidates looking for a job or a better job, we charge a fee of KSH 2 for every day that a candidate keeps their mini CV with us.

We will NEVER share your Mini CV with anyone outside of Manpower Services without your explicit CONSENT. You will be made aware of the employers’ names and will be requested to either approve or deny permission to have your Mini CV shared with them.

What happens after your mini CV is entered into our database? There are steps that we undertake from the time an employer requests Manpower Services to discretely find suitable candidates to fill up vacant positions in their organizations. The steps are as follows:

Manpower Services is requested by an employer to fill some vacancies at their organization. The employer has no intention of publicly advertising the vacant position(s).

Manpower Services examines the academic and professional requirements for the vacant position(s) and compares them with the Mini CVs available in the database.

Once suitable candidates based on the submitted Mini CVs are found, Manpower Services writes to these candidates seeking permission to forward their CV to the employer. The candidates can either approve or deny this request.

If the candidate approves the request, their CV is immediately forwarded to the employer for their own perusal.

If the candidate, for one reason or another, denies the request their CV is removed from the batch and other candidates are considered.

The employer goes through the shared CVs and selects the ones they consider most qualified. Manpower Services invites these selected candidates for interviews.

You should always ensure that the Mini CV details you have in our database are up-to-date. You can update the details via your dashboard at no extra cost.
