Job Overview:

The Stores Clerk will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel’s inventory,

ensuring efficient stock control, and maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and

accountability. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, proactive, and possess excellent

communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and store hotel supplies and inventory in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure stock levels are adequate, including tracking usage and ordering supplies as needed.
• Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and report any discrepancies in inventory.
• Ensure that all stock items are stored appropriately to maintain quality and minimize loss or damage.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of supplies.
• Perform regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Manage stock rotation and ensure that items are used before expiration dates.
• Assist in preparing reports related to inventory levels and stock movements.
• Support other administrative tasks related to inventory management.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar stores or inventory management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic office tools (Excel, Word).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A high level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of hotel operations.
• Knowledge of stock management procedures and best practices.

Educations:

• The candidate must have a Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management / Procurement / Purchasing Management
