My name is Caren Wambua and I am a graduate of a Bachelors Degree in Business Management- Accounting option from Moi University. During my University studies I undertook a 3 months attachment as an Accounts intern at the Nairobi County Government where I was attached at the Accounts Department. I worked with two units namely: Bank reconciliation unit and the HRM Accountant office. The internship was between 15th January 2014 t0 15th April 2014.
After graduation, I joined Absa Bank then Barclays Bank of Kenya since August 2016 to September 2022. Over the last 6 years at Absa Bank was engaged in Customer Service, Data led Sales, Customer Relationship Management, Financial advisory services, Portfolio management as well as Credit lending and analysis.
I am so passionate and knowledgeable in customer relationships and creating the most memorable experiences for clients through professional interactions and engagements; prompt resolution and/or escalation of customer queries and complaints, ensuring adherence to service level agreements hence improving retention rates and loyalty.
I am seeking an opportunity where I will use my skills and expertise in financial advisory services, sales, customer relationship management as well as finance and accounting to maximize market share, generate revenue and improve business growth bottom line.
