Provide Strategic direction and leadership to the business whilst leading the finance team on day to day smooth and efficient running of the operational activities and month end close procedures. Work with Heads of Departments and Branches to maximize operating results,providing them with tools for future planning, revenue management and controls. Provided leadership in the budgeting, planning and forecasting process across the East African region by working closely with the operations team to ensure the results are accurate and achievable. Coordinated the monthly and annual finance closure and reporting by ensuring all revenues and costs for the period are accounted for and financial and management reports which include detailed variance analysis against budget and forecast are prepared and discussed with the senior management team during the monthly management review meetings.
