I am a Kenyan professional with a wealth of experience in Enterprise Risk Management,
Automated Operations, Auditing, Accounting, strategy, development financing, and Corporate
Governance. I have been involved in various financial and Government services operations, board and management functions, IT, business and financial risk management reviews’, audits, business performance and investigations for the past over fifteen years in the various finance, commercial and development finance sectors in Kenya and the East African region.
I have a Master’s of Science degree in ICT Policy and Regulation from Jomo Kenyatta University
of Science and Technology (JKUAT); a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (Accounting
Major) from Egerton University, I am also Certified Public Accountant (CPAK), and Certified
Information Systems Auditor (CISA Certified-ISACA). I have also Pursued Executive Education
in Business Leadership at Strathmore Business School (Senior Managers Leadership Program)
and Global Business Management at Nanyang Technological University - Singapore. I am
currently enhancing my skills on Environment and Social Governance and Sustainability
Standards Certification supported by European Organisation for Sustainable Development.
I have been involved in setting up audit and risk departments, leading merger projects, execution
of National strategic plan projects by leading and coordinating technical teams focusing on
multisector complex operations in establishing the Kenya Transport Logistics Network. Equally,
I have board experience while reporting to the board audit and risk committee while serving as
manager internal audit in various financial institutions and as a board member representing
corporate shareholders.
I am currently serving as a Deputy Director Risk Management and Compliance at Kenya
Development Corporations where i coordinate all Risk Management, Compliance and
Environment and Social Governance activities in the Corporation, reporting to the Director
General administratively and functionally to the Board Risk Committee
