Currently, I work as a Human Resources & Administration Manager at Mboya Wangong’u & Waiyaki Advocates. My primary function is to ensure that my Employer makes informed decisions based on emerging best practices on employment matters as affected by the law, and also taking charge of administrative tasks in the Firm effectively. My robust job roles include end-to-end HR Administration with tasks including – employee onboarding, handling disciplinary matters, effective facilitation and carrying out of performance reviews and appraisals, overseeing staff welfare and wellness, effectively facilitating employee training, participating in decision making at leadership level. I have also been very instrumental in the Firm’s strategy discussions and decisions, which involves ability to organize and prioritize various projects simultaneously and to ensure they all run successfully.
Aside from my experience, I am capable of engaging and influencing confidently at senior levels, and I have a strong understanding of the importance of being able to work self sufficiently while maintaining a team-oriented attitude that is grounded in both approachability and respect.
