Catherine is a project manager for Mapinfotek Geomatiks Ltd. She is currently providing senior-level management, and strategic leadership on the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Land degradation Assessment for Upper Ewaso Nyiro North and Upper Kerio Valley watersheds- a Kshs. 11,000,000 project under the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation, The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), a Ksh.105,000,000 project for Designing, developing, and publishing the Solar Water Pumping and Irrigation suitability Mapping among other projects. As a seasoned Project Manager, Catherine has led in actively securing and managing key partnerships, leading on business development opportunities aligned with Mapinfotek’s strategy and vision.
Prior to joining Mapinfotek, she served as a project assistant in the fight against Multi drug resistant-Tuberculosis (MDRTB) and HIV/AIDS under the Tuberculosis Advocacy Consortium in the Kenyan slums and Communities, implemented by Stop TB Partnership, Plan International, World Health Organization, and the Global Fund where she oversaw all aspects of programs and grants management portfolio for three years.
She possesses over 8 years of experience of hands-on experience with both private organizations and NGOs, managing grants, designing, implementing, and evaluating programs in East, West, and Central Africa.
