Dear Sir/Madam,
I am currently working as Private fund Raising consultant in the Debt and Equity space working with private and public sector institutions and well as FIs.
I have a background in Banking having worked as Senior Relationship Manager at National Bank of Kenya. Here, my main responsibilities are Business Growth in Assets and liabilities, Collection management solutions and overall revenue generation. The role entailed opening up new markets, developing sales strategies and closing business leads. I have had the opportunity to lead a team of Relationship Managers with an asset book of of over Usd.150 Million which in turn enhanced my leadership abilities.
Prior to this, I worked at Ecobank Kenya Limited as the Pioneer Branch Manager – Kitengela. Here, I was responsible for setting up a new branch and coming up with sustainable business growth strategies as well as overall management of the branch. It took me a record 18 months to achieve a breakeven position.
I have also worked for two other commercial Banks namely, Chase Bank (Currently SBM, Kenya) and Diamond Trust Bank, both in Relationship and Business Growth. Chase Bank gave me enough insight into SMEs while Diamond Trust Bank introduced me into the Corporate Market. Ecobank on the other hand, opened my eyes into cross border customers and transactions; well as branch management and operations.
I hold a bachelors’ degree in Business and Management (Banking and Finance option) from Egerton University. I am also an Associate Retail Banker from the Retail Banking Academy in London. I have also attended a number of short courses on risk and credit management. Further, I am currently Pursuing My MBA at Kenyatta University.
The privilege to work in back and front office both in sales, Relationship building and credit appraisals has moulded me to be an all-round sales, relationship and business risk expert.
